National Mission for Unity and Brotherhood (NMUB) has paid tributes to those killed in the Reasi terrorist attack and demanded that the government speed up efforts to restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rakesh Sapru, the coordinator of the initiative that’s working to bring the various communities in Jammu and Kashmir has demanded more efforts to establish peace in J&K. While congratulating the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for its third term at the center, Mr. Sapru said “He wishes the new Government led by Sh. Narendra Modi will work with his alliance partners to ensure the integrity, security, and all-round development of the nation.”
The statement reads, “We, the members of NMUB also hope that the government will continue to provide their support to all and also provide help to needy families work for prosperity. National Mission for Unity and Brotherhood urges the prime minister to take positive steps for the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits while adding forward-looking policies for ensuring the welfare of the Muslim community in India. We hope that the newly formed government will take further steps to develop the union territories of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh.”
Rakesh Sapru, also the leader of Sharad Pawar-led NCP, advised the new government that the nation needs to work to preserve rich cultural heritage, generate employment, and revive the economy.
