The meeting highlighted the importance of saving Kashmiri culture and addressing the youth’s disconnection from their roots. Concerns were raised about the erosion of local dialects and languages, with calls for the Kashmiri language to be recognized officially in education and government work.

Participants agreed on the need for ground-level efforts to reconcile displaced Kashmiri Pandits and the state’s Muslim population. Proposed initiatives include organizing events to engage youth and women from both communities, and fostering connections with the Kashmiri language, and cultural institutions.
